Our Go-To Recipe For Outdoor Adventures

This recipe is our go-to for trips to the wilderness. It takes minutes to make so you can focus on packing the essential gear – and minimise the risk of forgetting that one crucial item.

It is loaded with carbs and protein to keep those legs moving, even on the wettest British days – the pictures in this post were taken on the way up Scafell Pike, proof it works.

In this example, we used Salt & Pepper Chicken Bites, but any flavour from the range will work!

It can also be enjoyed hot and is an ideal filler for your GSN Insulated Flask.

What you’ll need:

100g of dried pasta per person

100g of Chicken Bites per person

30g of olives per person

1 bell pepper

Mayo

Siracha

How to do it:

(You can probably guess this bit)

  1. Cook the pasta as per pack instructions – Prepare it al dente (slightly undercooked) if keeping warm in a flask.
  2. Prepare your Chicken Bites as per the pack instructions – if using Panko Breaded Bites we’d recommend giving them 2 minutes in the air fryer (preheated to 200 degrees) after microwaving.
  3. Chop the pepper and the olives.
  4. Mix everything in a large bowl with a tablespoon of mayo and a teaspoon of siracha.
  5. Portion into your lunchbox or flask.
